sometimes you have to be a little bit naughty

"Matilda Shapland and Violet Tucker will join Tasha Chapple and Lottie Sicilia in the title role from September 2014."

Matilda the Musical (via matildathemusical-westend)

well i knew it was about time for lollie to leave (heartbreak!) but…cara’s been there for like five minutes.  anyone know why she’s leaving?

(via krokodile) Okay I am so happy to see the name Matilda Shapland because I saw her in Les Mis as Young Cosette and all I could think throughout the entirety of Castle on a Cloud was “I bet this kid would make a brilliant Matilda!”

I’m in London!

gabebert:

And obviously seeing Matilda multiple times. Question for anyone who knows, how strict are the ushers?

I don’t know about higher levels but I was in the stalls and they stood at the back for the entire performance, so they could see any camera as soon as you turned it on. Audio you could probably get away with if you’re subtle, but I really wouldn’t film - I think there’s a reason why there’s not too many videos of the London cast!

If a country is to be corruption free and become a nation of beautiful minds, I strongly feel there are three key societal members who can make a difference. They are the father, the mother and the teacher.

Family isn’t always blood. It’s the people in your life who want you in theirs. The ones who accept you for who you are. The ones who would do anything to see you smile, and who love you no matter what.

(and it’s not about chris hoch this time, wow)

I just googled “Milly Shapiro” to find a picture of this adorable little nugget to show to a friend, and as I’m sure all of you know, google does this thing where relevant searches pop up in a dropdown menu. The dropdown menu offers things like…

Looks like Tasha’s just finished her first public performance!

I’m obsessed with the game 2048, and I made a Matilda version. x)

I must sound a bit odd to anybody who heard because I’ve been whispering aloud things like “Okay so two Adi’s make a Josie, two Cleo’s make an Eleanor” whilst playing to keep track…this is really fun!
